I can't get over how much Lucy has grown up in the last little bit. It happened by leaps and bounds after she completely potty trained and is happening every second now that she is a big sister. She is so creative and full of personality and is so independent. She wants to do everything. Sometimes it causes a melt down because she wants to do it and she can't quite yet, or we're in a bit of a hurry so we want to help her along and she wants to do it completely by herself... but for the most part it's amazing. She can put her own socks and boots on, she is really good at putting lids on and off (screw kind and other), getting dressed and pretty much anything else she sees big brother doing!
Now... she also has quite the sense of humor. The night that I came home from the hospital I was a bit tender and sore so I wasn't walking up right. When I saw her she started doing this weird duck walk looking thing, which she has duck walked before but not quite like this. Eventually we figured out that she was mocking me! Mom asked her what she was doing and she said in the most pained and pitiful voice possible, "Momma...." and pointed at me. Then we got it. We couldn't help but laugh! Of course she thought that was hilarious so she continued to do it. I caught it on video a bit... I couldn't believe that she had come up with that! Silly girl.
She also really likes singing. She can hum or sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Which I think is impressive! She has the tune down but not words but she is spot on with the tune! I think that's pretty impressive for an almost two year old that she has such good tone!

Her praying... |
Ever since she has completely potty trained and the birth of her little sister she has completely become our big girl. It seems like every time I look at her she looks more and more like a big girl and acts like one too. She's growing up to quickly... and I hope that I don't miss out. I love her so much, even when she's stubborn and defiant. Maybe even more then... who knows :)
