They ended up going to a few different places. They wanted to get some pants for the kids as Dude has worn a hole through all the pants that we have... and Lucy needed some as well. They then grabbed some lunch and got to ride the carousal! They thought it especially fun... I don't think that Lucy has even been on one before and Dude only once. :) What a fun treat for them. They ended up playing at the play structure which was good. Unfortunately there was a bit of an misunderstanding at the top of the slide between Lucy and a much older girl child... which resulted in this girl child thinking Lucy wasn't going down the slide fast enough so she gave Lucy a push... :( Lucy the strong girl that she is didn't budge, but instead got up and decked this girl in the face. !!! She wasn't pleased with being rushed and she let this girl know. Only our Lucy... at least I'm never worried that she won't stand up for herself!
They ended up at Barnes and Noble after the play area needed to get cleaned and they played happily there until it was time to go. They seemed pleased enough to have an outting with Papa and we got really good rest at home. :) The kids seemed much happier once they got home, so it did everybody good.
On a different day he took them out for a walk because the weather was getting better and they ended up at the park. They had a blast playing and walking back. I know the fresh air did them well and I can't wait for the weather to be warmer more consistently so we can play outdoors. They love being outdoors! Even if its just running around outside on the deck and playing in the garden dirt they love being outdoors. :)
