I can't believe that my little Lucy is 2... and in other ways I can't believe that she's *only* 2. That girl has got so much personality, sass and spunk I don't know how it is contained in that little body of hers! For her actual birthday we drove to the east side of the state because there were a few items we needed to pick up! Our sweet Norah has started cloth diapers and is a bit of a heavy wetter so she has been wetting through her clothes... :( So, we went to get some hemp inserts so that this will hopefully stop! There is this adorable store in Ann Arbor so we went there and then headed to Ikea. :)

The kids just wanted to play there... which I think is funny. So Dude was quite content with playing with the train set in one of their set up bedrooms while Lucy tried all the little kid chairs she could find. There were a few other things that she liked to ride on but she was mostly about trying the different chairs. :) Norah had her debut in the Ergo Backpack and did just fine... so fine in fact that I recorded her snoring because it was so loud... our own little Snore-asaurus... haha. We ended up getting the kids some more wall lights... Lucy a flower and Dude a moon to go with his star. They picked out their own lamps. The walking around Ikea was actually starting to take its toll on me so we left and went to Ashley and Sunil's. :) We went out to dinner with them and the kids were so excited to see them... I'm not even kidding when they literally ran circles in their house when they got there!

It was nice to hang out with them even if it was just for dinner. Sunil got to meet Norah for the first time and Ashley got to see her again! :) She was just so impressed at what a good baby she is. The entire time we were there, and eating she just slept... like a dream. I was a little worried about going out to eat with everybody but it was just fine! Our first dinner experience with all the little ones... and we survived! :) Tally and Pipi showed up to meet Norah as well, so it was nice to see them and chat for a bit. But... it was time to get going home. After a long day of walking around and being out I was super tired! The kids fell asleep in the car which was good so Gaetan and I got some actual talking/hanging out time together... in the quiet! It was nice.
So... Happy Birthday my little ball of fire. Momma, Papa, Dude (and I'm sure Norah would say so too) love you very much.
