Norah is wireless!

Today Norah went in for more blood work to see if how he jaundice is doing... and they said that we could turn off the biliblanket machine!  Wahoo!  I was starting to get a little discouraged each time our poor little girl had to go in and get poked and they would call with the results saying that she had to stay on the machine a little longer... but not today!  :)

Our sweet girly sleeping through her pokes.  This was the only thing that made me not worry was that she was so good about getting her blood drawn.  No crying for this girl!
She has her two week check up on Friday and they are going to see how her numbers are doing then, but I have a feeling we are home free!  Her not having that 'tail' makes everything so much easier... and not being confined to a little space because of being hooked to the machine makes it a lot nicer too!  Now we can start on having some good tummy time and letting the kids play more around her and get used to her being there.  I am so happy that she is done with that and she is healthy!

The kids enjoying some tummy time with sweet Norah.  They look so big compared to her!
This little stint of her having to be on a machine and the inconvenience that it brought really made me realize and be thankful that our kids are healthy.  This wasn't even a week and it was starting to become a drag... I suppose the hardest part was not knowing when she was going to get better, but I am thankful to know that she was going to get better soon and that she is now!  So thankful for our little girl and her being healthy now!  I even changed her diaper today too because she didn't have the confusion of the paddle and cord in the way... we are moving on up!  That makes two in less than two weeks for those of you counting at home... Gaetan jokes with me because with Lucy I don't think I changed a diaper for a few months!  I did one while I was in the hospital by myself and this one at home... whoo!  I think my Mom will finally get a full nights rest without me calling her for help.  I'm sure that she is thrilled about that!  :)
