First home visitors!

Last night our friends the Slattery's came to visit us.  They were in town on some unfortunate circumstances, but that allowed them to come over for a quick visit.  Poor Hannah's Grandma was sick in the hospital for quite some time and she finally passed away, and the next day when somebody went to pick up the Grandpa they found that he had passed away too... :(  So she got double whammied with her grandparent's passing away so quickly, but they both agreed that they neither one of them would've wanted to live without the other... so even though its hard on the people left here, they can take comfort in knowing they are happy together.

Anyhoo, the last time we saw the Slattery's baby Ethan was only a few months old, so that was last fall!  And now Ethan is 9 months old and is on the move!  He was a crawling machine and he has so much more personality since the last time we saw him.  Benjamin and Ethan definitely play with each other like they are brothers already!  It was an absolute mad house with all the kids running around!  They loved it though, and its nice, as a Momma, watching kids play together.  It even half made me think that I could handle having so many kids!  haha.

Hannah and DJ both got to hold Norah and they seemed thrilled about it.  Hannah wants a girl so badly, so she was thrilled to be around Lucy and Norah.  Lucy was being a lover and wanted Hannah to pick her up all the time and there was no dispute :)  It was good to see them for a short little visit and I can imagine that it was nice having a break from all that had to happen in a short amount of time due to the funeral.

We promised that it wouldn't be such a long time before we got to see them again.  And I think with the summer coming up, and no pending pregnancies/births it should happen.  :)
