More visitors!

Man, I feel like ever since we've moved we've been having a lot more visitors come see the new place! Which is a good thing because, honestly, it makes me get things done. :)    Mostly decorating, because I feel like it makes it feel more like a home, and I want to welcome people into my home, not just bare walls...

This time we had some friends down Quebra and Dizzy.  Dude always gets so excited when they come for a visit!  The hardest part about making plans right now is I'm never sure how I'm going to feel.  I can hope for the best and only feel a little terrible... but there are some days that I feel like I just can't get out of bed!  :(

But, Quebra and Dizzy had some time off and they chose to come spend the evening with us.  We showed them around our new place and then Dude wanted to show them how well he could ride his bike around the complex.  We walked/biked to the dino slide where the kids played for a hot second... we left because there were some other kids there who were being quite inappropriate, and I just figured that wasn't any reason to stay.  So, we adventured back to our place and got some dinner!  My loving husband is so amazing about dinner and food... even though I plan out our weeks meals, sometimes nothing that I've planned out sounds particularly good to me (really, I don't think that it will sit well) so then we alter our plan.  I had played on cooking jambalaya but the thought of that made my stomach churn... so we got Bilbo's pizza instead.  I was quite thrilled with our change.  :)

After the kiddos stayed up a bit past their bedtime, and it was clear that they needed to go to bed, we just hung out and chatted with them for a bit.  It's nice just being, chatting, talking about life and getting to know each other better.  Honestly, I'm not sure I would've been able for much more than that, but these are the types of things I like doing.  :)

He just started a big boy job as an engineer and she is starting her last year of college!  So, I'm sure they will be busy little bees, but hopefully we will get a chance to see them again soon!
