Then, we tried to figure out what we actually wanted to do on a date night, and we decided we should eat. But, then came the world famous question, "Where do you want to go?" Logically, since I'm the one who is more sensitive to things I should've picked, but nothing was sounding good and the longer and longer we waited the worse and worse I felt. So, we just decided to get in the car and decide once we started driving. Once we hit the road my craving hit me. Steak. Lots of it. So, steak I had! It was nice to go out, have a nice meal with my husband and just kind of talk about life. It may not seem that interesting, or exciting, but the idea of being able to eat our meals (AT THE SAME TIME!!!!) and while they're hot so much more than one can know. I was actually stuffed by the time my soup and salad came out, but since we weren't really in a hurry we took our time and I digested our appetizer rather quickly so I was ready for my main course. :)
After dinner we kinda looked at eachother like, what else should we do? Even just going out for a meal seems like a long time to be away from the kids, so we decided to go back to my parents. The kids were just fine and having a blast playing with their cousins. While they were being entertained, I followed my normal pregnancy routine and chopped off all my hair. Yup, my sister cut off probably a foot that we're going to donate to locks of love. It was a bit shorter than I was anticipating... which is normal when I get a haircut from Holly ;) but she put in a lot of cute layers, so it doesn't look like I have a helmet. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out and I can even still put it back in a ponytail. It was a good night :)
My new do. Can't really see all the cute layers, so I might have to post better one later |
