Playdate

Last Saturday we had another playdate with the Schampers.  We found out that they are expecting another one later this year (how exciting!) but unfortunately that means that Tomo hasn't been feeling very well :(  I guess she gets really sick during her pregnancies, so Michael had both their kids all day.  We hit up the children's museum in the afternoon which, of course, was a big hit.  They had a new exhibit up about good dental hygiene and Lucy LOVED brushing the dummies teeth.  She spent a lot of time going from station to station making sure that they had the proper care... which is funny, because normally she's pretty ADD about a lot of the things they have and just wanders around.  But this was nice for me because that meant I could be stationary :)  She was actually really into a few different things during the whole trip which was nice!

She passed out on the way up... she likes to take off her socks and boots in the car and because her pants have buttons all the way up she tore those open too... ridiculous

She looks like such a little girl!

Bubbles are always a favorite though

This is the first time she ever seemed interested in this exhibit

I was also glad that we could help Michael out watching the kids.  I know that it can be a lot to watch the small ones solo in a public place, but with 3 adults and 4 kids it makes it easier. My Dad wasn't feeling well, so we didn't go to my parents for the weekend, so we got a chance to have dinner with Michael and the kids instead.  And funny enough, we went and got pizza, so we did get to keep with our pizza on Saturday's tradition going after all haha.

Kai and Dude being monkeys together.  They look like twins!

Goose and Sakura played in the sand pit for a long time together

Going out to eat with these crazies

We always have a lot of fun with those crazies but unfortunately it takes it toll on me! I feel like such a loser for not being able to keep up with them very well, but I guess its a good thing that we have the other adults to help too :)  And I'm really glad that we could help Tomo out by letting her rest when she wasn't feeling well... I know that even a few hours of quiet time does a world of good!
