Baby Owen

Last Friday we got the opportunity to meet a friend's baby!  :)  She had him at the end of January, and I know that having a new born can be quite a challenge... and then on top of that having company over, so I made dinner and brought it to them  :)  I always think that its really nice to bring something to eat for the next day too so I brought them a breakfast coffee cake that I've made before that I thought was delicious.

It was so great to catch up with them!  Their little guy wasn't such a little guy when he was born... but you get used to hauling around your toddlers that when you see a newborn you think how little they are!  He was the same size as Tristan, and Dude was a big baby!  I may have bogarted their baby for about 1.5 hours and just snuggled him :)  It made me even more excited to have baby Norah here so that the kids can meet her and that I can snug her to my hearts content.  Even though he's not that big my arm was definitely feeling it later that night! haha.

The thing that was most surprising to me was that Lucy was all about the baby.  Just a few months ago she didn't seem that interested in babies and was quite territorial if I held one... but all she wanted to do was give the baby things, kiss him and wanted to be near him.  It was really endearing.  So, I'm hoping that she feels the same way about her little sister in about a month!

Love that people our age are starting to have kids now!  It's kind of funny because they all say they're going to come to us asking for advice... so we'll see how that turns out! haha.  Much love to you Lindsay and Greg and congratulations on your sweet little bundle.
