Play Doh!

I'm really starting to enjoy the curious minds of the kids... especially when it comes to crafts and what they like to do in their free time.  Gaetan and I were just discussing how babies are real cute and all up until 2 but there really isn't a whole lot they like to do that we can really get into... so that's the Momma snugging time :)  But now they love doing crafts together and playing with things that are actually interesting to us!

Them both on their 'computers'

Lucy really liked making smaller balls and throwing them into the container

Showed Dude how to roll out some play-doh so he could use the cookie cutter to make T's

Lu didn't have a rolling pin so she used the side of her play doh container... smart girl :)

Something that they have really been wanting to do is play with Play Doh.  They've played with it before but when they were smaller... and it didn't really interest them that much at the time.  But now that they're older they seem to really enjoy it!  Dude was more hesitant than Lucy to dive in and get 'messy' but after awhile he seemed to really like it.  I just had to show him a few things that he could do with it, dealing with letters of course that he could relate.

Something that I really liked was that we made a hand and foot impression of Dude and a foot impression of Lucy.  I'm thinking that we will probably do plaster with them sometime soon and make permanent ones... a little nostalgic I know, but they do grow up so quickly that I want to be able to have something to remind me of this special time.  :)

His foot!  He thought it was awesome that he could stand on the table for this... haha

So, here is to fun craft times with the kids and all the craziness that they like to bring!
