Chinese New Year

This is the first year we've ever done anything for the Chinese New Year.  My friend Tricia invited us over for some food and fun for this year, and who can say no to food?  It's the year of the black snake... which doesn't mean a whole lot to us, but it was just a good excuse to get together and try different foods!  We didn't do anything traditional food-wise... she made a lot of Vietnamese dishes (as she is from Vietnam) and I contributed some Korean dishes.  :)  We had a lot of fun and she made the kids some gifts out of money.  They always have such a good time hanging out with her, and this was no different!
