Broken Dryer

Ok.  I'm not sure what it is but we break appliances like its our job!  I feel badly for the maintenance man because I feel like we're always calling with large projects.  The first thing that broke was our water heater, but luckily for us we were going out of town that weekend so it didn't matter... but we got a new one of those.  Then, a few weeks ago when everybody was sick our washer died... unfortunate.  And we got another one of those.  Then, two days ago our dryer didn't start... and this was after I already did a load of laundry... So, here I am with a load of wet clothes and no dryer.  Poo.  Then, Eric (maintenance man) couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so he thought that they were just going to have to order us a brand new one which was going to be a few days.  Poo again.

Well, I was going to have to do some laundry in those few days and I still had to do something with the load of wet laundry that was already clean, so we hung our retractable clothes line up indoors so we could get our stuff dry!  It actually wasn't such a bad set up because I figured for snow clothes and in the summer (after swimming or whatever) that it would be a good thing to have up.  So, we looked old school with our clothes hanging on a line... haha.

Our dryer did get fixed and turns out it was an easy fix.  So, I was happy to have our dryer back!  And am happy that we are renting because those three things would've been really expensive had we had to replace them on our own!  It's the small things in life.  :)

We had a few loads to catch up on so I was going to start to fold and put them away and I found Dude in our room having already folded his clothes and starting to work on Lucy's.  It was adorable, and very impressive!
