Gifts for Momma!

Lucy woke up really early one morning and since I was already awake from being uncomfortable, I thought the nice thing to do would be get up with her.  We hung out for a few hours until Dude woke up... which was at 9!  I couldn't believe that he slept in that late!  But, Lucy and I had a really nice time together just hanging out.  She is full of mischief that one, but she smiles so sweetly at you and you know her intentions are good (most of the time. haha)  However, because we had gotten up so early and we had done a lot together I was exhausted by the time nap time rolled around.  So, Gaetan took Tristan out and about so that it would be quiet in the house and Lucy took her nap.  I passed out.  But, when they came home they had presents for me!  :)  And who doesn't love waking up for a nap, refreshed (for once) and getting presents!  Whoo hoo!

Gaetan took Tristan to the mall and they went to Teavana... which is a store that Dude actually likes a lot.  Whenever we go he likes to try all their free samples.  Apparently, while they were there he told the sales lady that his Momma had a baby in her belly and wasn't feeling that great, so she brought out a bunch of samples for him to try and smell so he could pick out the perfect one.  haha.  Gaetan said that he would sit and smell or try and say things like, "That's good, but it's not the perfect one."  He ended up getting me this tea called Aztec Fire.  It smells a lot like hot chocolate but tastes and awful lot like flowers... the kids seemed to love it, so I will be letting them finish the bag :)

Then, they got me some new slippers too!  I had gotten some slippers at the beginning of the winter but I had worn a hole through the balls of the feet and the heels already.  They came back with some really swanky looking slippers... they have a nice hard (yet soft) rubber sole, which should last me quite some time.  I couldn't believe the difference it makes wearing slippers vs not.  I was just going to tough out the old slippers til the end of winter, but there were pieces literally falling off... and not to mention anytime Lucy saw them she had to satisfy her picking habit and pick more off... but these slippers are great, comfortable and best of all: warm.  :)

So thank you to the men in my life for thinking of what would "feel Momma better" and getting me a few things to know that you're thinking about me.
