Joy

This last Sunday's service was about joy.  And, really, I'm not quite sure how one goes about talking about the joy we should have in this season in light of the recent shooting that had happened only days before.  I had been able to keep myself together pretty well about the whole thing until that day... I wanted to run back into Sunday school and snug my kids until their heads popped off and never let them go... I was a hot mess.  And, I'm not quite sure why this always seems to happen in public, but it always does.

But, I think that Kent did a really good job addressing joy in this situation.  That we have things to be joyful for and though we may not be feeling joy right now, it will come again.  Again, I highly recommend you listen to it if you are struggling with these events as it has helped me tremendously to view what had happened.
