I know I probably say this every break, but how is that when we get a break we cram is so full of things?! I honestly feel more exhausted after 'break' is over, then during my normal activities. I guess technically our first friend visit of the break was with Raeuf and his wife, but this was the first visit after we started potty training Lucy...
My good friend Tricia, from high school, came over for dinner. Dude was so excited about her coming over he kept saying all day, "Tricia is going to come over and we are going to play soccer!" I told him that it could be a possibility but he should ask her first... :) I also have to put it out there that she is a tremendous athlete and did play soccer in college, so he wasn't just pulling some random sport out of thin air for them to play together.
She is working in K-Zoo as a PA in a cancer clinic, so she's doing quite well for herself. It's nice re-connecting after all the years in college and having everything seem normal. She did just recently break up with her long term boyfriend, so I'm glad that she could get away and come over and hang with the kids. I know they loved it :)
She was a sweetheart and bought the kids some presents too. She got Dude this coloring/comic book thing... you put it on the computer and then it generates a comic book story with you and Spider-Man, and because you can put your picture on it then it's personalized. He was really excited about the idea of the new colored pencils too... they're quite fancy! They're like a mechanical pencil but with colors... whoa! haha. Lucy got this bunny that is probably the same size she is and loved it... it was very sweet.

I'm hoping that we can have more dinners together and just hang out. In the meantime, there are many more people to be visiting during this break! haha
