Strawberry Picking and Swimming

We went strawberry picking this year for the first time ever!  I have never been before and it was a lot of fun.  Jane was craving some fresh strawberries so we went to a place and the kids had a lot of fun.  There were a lots to strawberries to be picked, so that was nice and of course, the kids enjoyed sampling them.  :)  Jane wasn't real thrilled with the crop this year, but I think that the hard winter had something to do with it.  I thought that they tasted all right, but I agree they weren't the best we've had.  We did get a lot though and have been enjoying them :)

Later that day after we went strawberry picking the kids wanted to do open swim!  I was exhausted and couldn't believe that they and anything left but we went and it was a lot of fun.  :)

The kids like what they call the merry go round.... I whip them around as fast as I can in the water.  Lucy has taken to liking to do it on her back
