Eli's birthday

My sister's second oldest just had his 11 birthday!  I had a wedding rehearsal up in GR downtown so Holly thought it would be nice to hang out with G and the kids while I had my rehearsal.  Our plan was that we were going to walk around and maybe get some ice cream, but the weather was so cold and nasty that we just skipped the walking around part and got ice cream right off the bat.  Turns out there is a froyo place downtown that we went too and then I headed off to rehearsal.  I was impressed with how much froyo Eli got into his cup... over a pound! and they weigh it in ounces!  The rehearsal itself was interesting since it was on the blue pedestrian bridge and it was raining... the bride was pretty stressed, it was obvious, due to the weather not cooperating and she and family coming in from all over, so the logistics were proving to be a bit more than she was ready for.  However, everything seemed to go all right and I just had a guy holding an umbrella over me while we went through the ceremony.  I had this really weird moment though when the guests/family were coming to the rehearsal because I swore I saw Grav.  It was so weird.  He looked like him, He walked like him, and out of the corner of my eye I was convinced it was him!  But, it wasn't and it turns out this guy is from Canada.  Strange!  I was glad I went to this rehearsal because it wasn't at all how I envisioned it would be... but all went well.  :)

We got him a Calvin and Hobbes book because C and H is awesome
