Father's Day

I admit that we aren't big on holidays and such, but I felt like a bunda for not really getting/doing/having something special planned for Gaetan this Father's day.  I'm not quite sure why I felt the need so much specifically this Father's Day, but I did... I know that he was working extra hard on his comprehensive so he hadn't been around as much as he is used too, or liked to be... so maybe I thought I should show him how awesome he really is always.  Anyhoo... the best I could really do was let him sleep in.  I know that sounds kinda lame, but every little bit was helping at that point.  I made him some breakfast in bed, but he didn't stay in bed to eat it, he came out and had it with everybody else.  Then, we did a little landscaping and made our place not look so lame.  We really just hung out the rest of the day and took it easy.  I honestly think that that was the best thing for us at the given time.  I made California rolls for dinner and just enjoyed that fact that we didn't have anything planned (for once).  So, I know that it's late, but Happy Father's Day.  To the love of my life, my champion, and to the best Papa this world has ever seen.  You continue to amaze me with your selflessness and how you rose above the shitty hand you were dealt.  And not just rose above but made something (3 somethings actually) wonderful and continue to enrich everybody and everything you touch.  We love you so very much.  Forevea eva.  ;)
