Saturday was the actual wedding and since its warmer out that means that there is construction everywhere! One time it took us 45 minutes to travel 5 miles... which is annoying. And, I was super paranoid about not getting to the wedding on time! That, and since it wasn't at an actual place that meant I had to find street parking downtown and FoundersFest was going on so I didn't know how busy it was going to be. G found a nice little way to bypass the construction on the highway so I luckily missed all of that. I also found rockstar parking as close to the bridge as I could've wanted, so that was nice. The weather was completely opposite of what it had been at the rehearsal, so I'm sure that was a huge relief to the bride. She didn't pay me at rehearsal like we had discussed so I was pretty persistent about making sure I was paid before I actually played the wedding because I wasn't going to have another fiasco like I did before. The bride was pretty elusive which made me worry a little bit, but about 5 minutes before I had to play the maid of honor paid me so it was all good. :) The weather was actually really hot and the ceremony was short so that good! The blue bridge must be the premier wedding spot to take pictures because I saw at least 5 other bridal parties there! I was glad that it was short and sweet because I had something else to get too! :) The couple seemed sweet and they got my name from another wedding I did, so I was glad that they liked me enough to ask. This is the last wedding I have to play at this summer but not the last we are attending. :)
