Meeting Daniel

The long awaited meeting of my nephew Daniel happened last weekend.  I can't even begin to tell you how good this baby is.  He just observed everybody (which was a lot seeing how my sister and her crew were there, grandma, dale and his girlfriend and my family plus Mom and Dad... that's a lot of new people to take in!)  He let everybody hold him and love him and just smiled and never really fussed.  It was amazing.  He is so stinking cute too!  Ahh!

My arm workout... best workout ever.

It was nice being able to feed him and all the things you do with a 7 month old but it made me really thankful that we are at the stage we are at.  I know I always joke about wanting another baby, but I am quite happy with the idea of moving on past that stage and them doing their own things.  I will say my baby fix has been met for a little bit :)  I did get a chance to give him a nightly feeding, which I thought would give Megan and Jon a little bit of a break. They looked so tired from driving all the way from Kansas... and I remember what it was like getting up a few times a night and being zombie-esque during the day time.  It was wonderful and precious... but I was exhausted the next morning.  :) Worth it though.  can't wait to snug him some more tomorrow!
