Papa's trail/run

Ever since Gaetan's marathon has been done he has been trying to maintain a good base.  I think he enjoys running a lot more now and I know that its good to have some downtime and quiet time to yourself.  He is such a giver though and either runs on my off days or waits until I'm done running and goes after that, which can be pretty late.  He has mapped out this pretty nice 5 mile loop that is all lighted and is on sidewalks so even if it is late he can still go running safely.  Anyhoo, I thought I'd give it a try because I had to run 6 and it was during the day so I figured that I should run outside when I could.  Mistake.  It was so hot and humid I seriously thought that I was going to keel over and die.  The loop itself is nice and I can see why he likes doing it, but the weather just wasn't helping me out that day.  The kids went on a bike ride/walk while I ran and then I met up with them.  I did his loop again today and it was much better, which was encouraging.  :)
