First beach trip of the year

My Dad wanted to take everybody to the beach, since Megan has never been to Lake Michigan before.  Usually he has wednesday and thursday off but this week (probably due to the 4th) he only had Wednesday off.  Unfortunately it was the coldest day of the week... so our beach experience wasn't the brightest (haha).  The walk there wasn't bad, but towards the end I was getting eaten by mosquitos.  The water itself was really warm, but the weather was cold cold cold.  We even saw this massive fog roll in, which was really cool and creepy at the same time.  Holly's kids played in the water for quite a bit but Dude came in and was pretty unhappy that and continued to stay so until we left.  After her kids came out we had some lunch and then all started to look pretty miserable... so we packed up pretty quickly and headed home.  I was a little sad for Megan that her first time to Lake Michigan was so rotten, but she didn't seem to mind.  And, I got to have both babies for the walk there so I was pretty thrilled.  :)
