Waterpark

This summer has had some interesting weather patterns!  Some weeks it is as you would expect it to be in the summer and then the next week it felt like fall!  I thought that we were finally headed into fall but the weather decided that it was time for one last hurrah!  Since the kids love being in the water so much and we figured if we went during the middle of the week we'd be safe, we tried full blast one more time.  It was a perfect day to go.  It wasn't that busy, we got there when it first opened and then we stayed there for a few hours until I had to get ready to go to work.  Dude was finally old enough to do the slides by himself and OH MAN was he in heaven.  The first couple of times G went with him, for my sanity and probably because he wanted to ride the slides too haha.





He did well with the tube slide and with the slide with nothing.  He honestly did that the whole time.  I even had to let go and let him go by himself but i definitely kept an eye at the bottom of the slide to make sure he was doing OK.  The guards there were really good about making sure he was OK and if he needed help they would be right there to assist.  Poor Lucy was about an inch too short for the slides but I know by next year she will be ready to go and will enjoy it as well!




They had a smaller play set that was perfect for Lucy which she had a blast with. Norah was just kinda wandering around and trying to not get splashed in the face.  We were there for a good long time!  It was a good experience this time, so I definitely recommend going during the middle of the week :D
