Schamper visit

It has probably been two years since we hung out with the Schampers!  I can't believe that much time has gone by already... but the last time we did see them was when Sora and Norah were babies, which they very much aren't anymore.  Tomo and the kids spent the summer in Japan so they were out of the country!  Michael had started a new job that involves a lot more traveling, so I'm not really that surprised that we haven't had time to hang out!

The kids just resumed playing together like they had been all along.  It was great.  I know that Lucy and Sakura probably had the best time together... cutest little troublemakers you've ever seen!



It was nice catching up with Tomo and seeing how life has been for her.  I know that the visit home was probably nice to see family, but I honestly couldn't imagine being a single parent for that long.  Sakura doesn't speak English, only Japanese but can understand English, so Tomo said that has been interesting for school.  Kai seems to have really matured over the past few years!  They had a lot of fun talking Pokemon, of course.

Hoping that our next visit is sooner than two years but it was good seeing you guys again :)
