We had a mini bonfire before, as I mentioned with the S'Mores, but my parents were gone for the weekend so we decided to have a bonfire at their place. They have this pit that was overgrown and I know they had a lot of good stuff to burn, so it was the perfect time to have one! The weather was cooperating and it wasn't too buggy either... so we invited Q and D and Blake and Katie over and we we had a really nice time together! The kiddos stayed up way past their bedtime to hang out, and I know that Dude appreciated it since Dizzy and Blake are big pokemon fans!
It was an amazing way to relax and hang out with friends. We had s'mores after the kids went to bed because I didn't want them hopped up on sugar and all sticky haha. Again, it was just another perfect thing that I was appreciating in the moment.
