Week 30

I had a regular check up for Miss Norasaurus.  I was supposed to get my glucose test done during the holidays but we were so busy around Christmas and New Years with family, and then we were so sick that it wasn't worth doing it.  So, I went early to my appointment to get it done... yeah.  haha.  I haven't heard back from them so I'm assuming that I don't have gestational diabetes, which is great!

Norah was so wiggly at this appointment that Dr. Chamberlain was having a hard time getting a good read on her dop tones.  He kept laughing because he could see my belly moving and her sharking through the entire appointment.  All is well though in Norah land.  She is growing well, and I'm measuring correctly.  I only gained 8 lbs!  I was really surprised... I thought for sure with Christmas and the holidays I would easily make double digits... guess I needed all those treats ;)  Her heartbeat was strong at 160 and it seems like everything is well on their way.

We are now at the point where I have to get checked regularly every other week... fun right?  I think after this next appointment I will have to see the OB's because I'm fairly certain that Norasaurus will be extracted via c-section.  If I can pick the day then I'm fairly certain her birthday will be March 29.  Mark your calendars!  haha.

Me trying to explain to Gaetan why having pickles, and root beer together isn't THAT weird...
I've been craving a lot of peanut butter, corned beef, crunchy snacks, ice cream, and smoothies.  Things are getting more uncomfortable at night time... my lower back is feeling the extra weight out in front.  I find it way more comfortable to sleep on my right side instead of my left, which is strange.  I am starting to have those late night hunger pangs, which will eventually going to get me up out of bed because I am so hungry.  Peeing a couple of times a night is also very typical... the end is nearing!  I can't believe it!
