I thought a nice warm soup would compliment the homemade bread very well, so I found this recipe and it sounded delicious. I'm always a huge fan of broccoli cheddar, and this claimed that it tasted like Panera's, so I thought, why not. Also, it didn't use velveeta (which I know there is a time and a place for that stuff, but I do try to avoid it as much as possible). I thought it turned out very nice. It was really warm and comforting (especially as I watched the snow blowing sideways past our window) and the kids really liked to dip the bread in it. :) I thought it was pretty tasty and definitely a nice substitute if you don't have to drive to a Panera and spend the money on theirs!
