32 weeks

This was my last appointment with my PCP until after Norah is born!  We are now getting into the part of pregnancy where I got every other week, and soon (like a month) I will be going to the Dr's every week!  However, from here on out I will be going to my OB specialist for the rest of Norah's care and delivery.  Since my last visit (which was two weeks ago) I gained 4 lbs putting me at 34 total.  I thought it was going to be a little less because we all got sick and weren't eating a whole lot, but I guess regardless of what I am doing baby is going to take what she needs!  She had a strange heartbeat at 140 and even wasn't to wiggly to get good dop tones.  Gaetan and the kids got to be here for the appointment which was nice... I know how much he likes to hear her heart.  I also asked Dr Chamberlain where she was in my belly... whenever she has hiccups I feel her in one general area and I wondered if she was head down.  Turns out she is!  Where all the action is on my belly is definitely where he says her arms and legs are.. so it make sense.  I think that's the most fun part is watching her move around and trying to guess what body part it is. haha.

Nighttime is getting a bit rougher.  I have been feeling better since my little visit to the hospital.  I've had minimal contractions and no heart burn!  Whoo!  I think this 'heart burn' was just a symptom of whatever sickness was spreading through our house.  I do get tuckered out fairly easily though, but have been feeling more energetic than I had in the past few weeks.  I do get up to pee a lot during the night, but it's also kind of nice because that gives my legs a stretch.  I'm supposed to be sleeping on my left side but I feel like a rotisserie chicken at night since I'm always tossing from one side to the next... always rotating to get comfortable and give one of my sides a break!  But, it's all been good and I know it's preparing my body for the couple of hour increments it will only be getting in the very near future.

We also talked a bit about Norah's extraction.  Since we are pretty sure she will be a c-section, even though I would like to try a VBAC its probably not going to happen.  Lucy and Tristan's heads were so big that even if I had dilated properly and everything had gone the way it was supposed to, there was no way their heads would've fit!  But they are thinking that they would like to extract a week early, so we will see!  Getting excited to meet Miss Norah!  Dude likes to talk to my belly a lot more now and Lucy will say baby and point to my belly too.  They give her good night kisses now and pray for her at dinner time too... very endearing.

This was the kids sharing their puzzle pieces with Norah... just piling them all up on my belly haha
