Ramona Beach

At the beginning of the summer, when it was so hot out we went in search for water.  At our last place there was a pool but not here.  Honestly, I can't see how this complex would have a pool because of all the small children that live here, but that meant that we had to find our own way to stay cool!  One of the parks here has a beach front so we bought a season pass (which wasn't expensive at all) and thought that we would be there more often than we have been!

We had the perfect day to go to the beach though.  Now that Dude is 4 is he more excited about getting his head wet and be adventurous in the water.  We took the neighbor boy Chase with us as his Mom was helping his Aunt move into her new place... and he was really excited about the idea of going to the beach.  This beach is nice because they have lifeguards on duty and staff every where.  The kids had a blast.  The water was a great temperature and so Norah even got in the water. :)  Gaetan played silly games with the older ones while I just chilled with Norah on the shoreline.  She just sat in the water and loved it.

Eventually the kids wanted to do some digging so Gaetan took Norah out a little deeper and I dug with them.  I had a first at the beach... some lady told me that she thought Norah was small for her age... I think she forgot her glasses!  But, after a few hours, we decided we should go because the sun was going down and it was getting a bit chilly for them.

We came back and Chase stayed and played legos and trains with Dude.  He about lost it he was having so much fun.  :)  It was a great day and I was so thrilled that Norah loved the water so much!
