Capo

I have been trying to get back into the swing of things exercise wise.  As many of you know I have been doing the 30 day squat and ab challenge and have been trying to go capo class twice a week.  It's such good exercise and the people are so great there isn't any reason why I wouldn't want to, but it does get hard at times with the small ones.  If it was just Lucy and Dude I think I wouldn't have any hesitation about going to class but Norah is a our wildcard.  That is right around the time she likes to nurse a lot and can get quite cranky.  And, of course, I take into consideration my sweet husband who has to watch them... and I don't want it to be any added stress if at all possible.  Things are really starting to get intense because their batizado is coming up... so people are training harder and are extra motivated!  I unfortunately got a sinus infection that lasted about 2.5 weeks so I was out of training for that while as it was hard to think straight just sitting let alone upside down!

Gaetan was wearing his Eat, Sleep, Capoeira shirt and the Eat and Sleep were crossed off and he asked about the event.  Gaetan explained to him that we went to New York when he was very small... and then Dude asked where Lucy was.  He told him this was before Lucy was born, even before she was planned for!  And Dude got this sad look on his face and said, "No Lucy? A world without Lucy would be sad..."  He loves his little sister even when she is a bully... it was very sweet of him.  And then he said, "I know you like capoing (yes, he uses it as a verb) but how could there be no time to eat OR sleep?"  That concept just baffled him.  It was very precious.

Anyhoo, I did my first demo in a long time.  Lobo works with a group that is affiliated with the YMCA and wanted to put on a show for his houses.  So, we did a few hour demo for them, taught them a song, ate with them and did some music.  It was a good time.  :)  Everybody seemed very interested and the kids even got to play pretty hard in their kids area.

She's in the flying stage

I can't believe that I have been training capo for 6 years!  Especially after the first handful of classes I vowed I would never go to another class... and here I am.  haha.  Tristan and Lucy always say that they are going capoing and are really excited to go to class.  I appreciate their support :)
