Mom cut

Ok.  I had been debating on whether to cut my hair or not... I know that I look better with longer hair but the convenience of having short hair and having to get up a few times a night to nurse was starting to appeal to me.  One of the things that put me over the edge was when I got sick... I was so hot and nasty and having my hair all over me was just making me mad.  And I know that its not really that difficult or time consuming to throw your hair back in a pony tail, but as of right now I was trying to eliminate things to make life easier and the hair was something that could be easily done.

I had picked out a style that I liked and told my sister what I wanted but just a little bit shorter... well, it turned out A LOT of bit shorter.  I'm not gonna lie I don't love it.  I love the convenience of it (which I guess was ultimately what I wanted out of the cut) but I'm not real wild about the actual style itself.  The more I see it the more it grows on me, but it wasn't what I had in mind, so I was in a bit of shock when I saw it at first.

This is by far the shortest that I've ever had my hair, and it will probably be the shortest it will ever be.  By the time summer is over with my hair will probably be the length that I originally wanted... and then I will start my journey on growing it back out.  but I do love that its so easy to take care of (because I don't have to do anything) and showering is quick and easy!  When getting up to nurse Norah in the middle of the night I just have to stumble in there which is great.  :)

So, to all my true friends out there I know that you'll tell me the truth when you see me about my hair.  Even if it's "Oh!  It's so short!"  That's fine.  I get it.  :)  I am thinking that I am going to get the blue re-done in it though, because I really liked it, and the way that my sister cut my hair you can definitely see it better.  Will have to figure out how to do that with Norah, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
