Lunch with Mison

I love how friends are literally all over the world but we can still keep in contact/touch with them.  Former employers of mine are still really good friends and I've become friends with their children and their families as well too!  Their daughter Mison is an officer in the Army and was stationed in Okinawa for the past few years and is finally returning stateside.  Sad for her that she is getting stationed in Oklahoma (what a let down after being stationed in Japan for a few years!) but its nice having her in the states and the chances of seeing her more regularly always makes me happy!

She has always let me know when she was in town and we have been with each other through major events and issues in our lives.  We generally get a chance to have a meal with her (because she has a lot of other people who want to see her too!) but I'm glad that she gets to meet my family and kids.  Its been kind of fun because every time she's come home we've gotten to try different places with her that she's never been!  This time Dude requested that we get Sushi, and even though she had been in Japan she was down for it.  :)

Norah, the head of our table, keeping it real. haha

Had a nice time talking and chatting it up with her and miss her lots.  It just made me realize how awesome friends are that we can pick up and hang out after months of not seeing each other like we've been seeing each other all along.  :)
