4th Anniversary

I woke up on Thursday at 10 am (gloriously thankful that Goose wanted to sleep in) and then realized that it was our anniversary!  Happy Anniversary to us!  I can't believe that it's been four years already... thats insane.  I seriously feel like it was last month that we were sitting around the lunch table with my parents seeing it was cool that we got married.  :)

It was a pretty fantastic anniversary.  We went to anniversary brunch at this new place we googled called Crow's Nest.  It. Was. Delicious.  It seems like a hipster version of Marie Catribs (less Mediteranean) but really good.  There was so much food too that I had to actually take some home... which hasn't happened in a really long time.  haha.  I'm happy we found a cute breakfast place so when our favorites come and visit I know where we can go to get some delicious food!

After that we hung out for a little bit and then the kids went down for their naps.  I read a bit while Gaetan studied/researched.  When they got up from their naps we dropped some more paper work off at our new place (more on that in a little bit) and then hit up this HUGE playground at an elementary school nearby.  The kids had a lot of fun until they didn't.  Poor Goose was just a little small for a lot of the equipment so she would fall a little bit or not be able to climb all the stairs.  Dude had a lot of fun, but the weather was pretty hot so we played for a bit and then got some ice cream!  Yum yum!

After the kids went to bed, Gaetan and I watched Thor together... a much better movie than I was anticipating.  Then we just hung out.  A very nice, relaxing anniversary with my favorite people in the whole world.  :)
