On Wednesday I had my last OB appointment until we get to meet Miss Norah... and we got some really exciting news! We are actually going to be meeting her a few days earlier than we thought! The nurse came in and started asking a bunch of questions about my c-section and I started to get a little nervous... turns out my Dr, Dr. Hartmann, was on vacation in CO and broke his pelvis while skiing... so obviously he will not be performing any surgeries! I had the option of keeping it on Monday with another OB in the office, with whom I wasn't a big fan of, or I could have the Dr that was picking between (Leahy or Hartmann) on Saturday. I think you can only imagine what this Momma picked... the Dr that delivered Dude and early?! Win win! I honestly think that was the best news I could've gotten. I was worried they were going to tell me I had to wait a lot longer, which is fine because her due date isn't til the 28th, but mentally I was ready for the 25th. So, that means we are just getting things ready a few days earlier (which is fine by me!) and that means we get to meet Miss Norah faster too! Whoo!
At my appointment all looked well. I only gained 1 lb this past week (What?!) which puts me at 181 total and 53 lbs overall. The smallest weight gain with all the kids, but again, this is a week early, so who knows. My blood pressure was good and her heart rate was a strong 142. She was showing off her wiggly skills like mad, which made us all giggle a bit.

My surgery is scheduled for 8 AM, which means I have to be at the hospital at 6... but that's fine! That means Gaetan will have a lot of time with Norah during the day and I like getting things going instead of having to wait around. Today is going fast already, with trying to get our house ready for being gone for a few weeks and just the excitement of a few more days is keeping me happy!
