Visit with Jon, Megan and Daniel

Jon's family got to visit for two weeks at Mom and Dads!  I know that its a long drive with a little in the back but we were glad to see them and see how much Daniel had grown since the last year we saw him.  He is walking and somewhat talking now... and definitely has quite the personality!



























































Admittedly, they, as a family, do a lot of things that I don't understand... and it was a little hard and awkward at times but it is always good to see them.  There were times that I felt badly for Daniel because I'm not entirely sure what time of life he's going to have with the decisions Megan is making... but we can only hope for the best and when they ask for advice give them what works for us.












































Daniel was considerably better when we were watching him vs. his parents, but I know it's a learned behavior.  He knows what he can get away with with them and the first time he threw a fit I just told him that's not how we do things and he got right up and didn't do it again.  Its hard to write about their visit because I have a lot of mixed feelings about the whole thing, and maybe I will tackle that another time, but for now, it was nice to see them and it sucks that my brother has to deploy, again.
