Taco Night with the Mins

The next night, after burgers with my parents, we had the Mins over for taco night!  it had been awhile since we had seen them just due to people being on vacation and life being busy so it was really good to see them again and catch up.  I always felt bad inviting them over to our place because it was so small and there wasn't enough room, but that isn't a problem anymore!  I know that they didn't feel that way, but it was always a little harder on me to have them over in such cramped quarters.  I don't normally get to see John either so that was nice to see him as well.  The kids loved playing together outside and in the basement... so that really did give us a chance to hang out and talk!  I absolutely love that all their toys are downstairs and not all over the living room. Or in their room.  Our house actually looks clean and not cluttered!  It's amazing!



Jane made a yummy scrumptious carrot cake that was happily devoured :)  Yum yum!
