Roasted chestnuts

My friend Jane was telling me that she has been snacking on roasted chestnuts and how much she liked them.  I, had never had them before even though you hear about them in that Christmas song!  She sent me home with a few pounds and told me how to roast them.  They were really yummy!  I seriously ate almost all of them.  It surprised me how sweet they were... kinda like a Korean sweet potato but they were nutty at the same time too.  Definitely a nice little find! They are expensive though if you buy them in the store, but she got them from a guy from church who had them in his back yard.  So, double score!  :)  If you ever get a chance to try them I highly recommend.
