Fall trail walking and a snake!

The fall is here and the beautiful leaves are changing colors!  We honestly haven't gotten to walk trails as much as we wanted to this year but we've been so busy!  We finally did get a nice afternoon to head out and walk and we found a snake!  Since Dude has learned to ride a two wheeler he likes to ride a bit ahead and turn around and come back.  Lucy is now getting confident on riding with training wheels and Norah... well, Norah does whatever she wants.  She likes to push the collapsible wagon which is nice because we can put the diaper bag and her potty in it but she is quite a bit slower than the crazies.  So, Gaetan usually stays with them and I walk/mosey along with Norah.  Norah was taking her sweet time and I saw the rest of the gang up ahead and they had been stopped in the middle of a trail for awhile.  I even saw them talking with some of the walkers there and showing them something!  So, when we finally got to where they were I saw why!  They had found a little garter snake and G had picked it up so that they could see it.  Lucy was all about looking at it and stuff, but Dude definitely kept his distance.  He encouraged Lucy quite a bit to touch it and stuff (which she did) and Norah liked to look but didn't want to touch.  It was pretty interesting to watch them handle it.  :)  Ahh... nature.  Gotta love it!
