Moved!

Welp, we up and moved... again.  I know that I have said many times before that our old place was a good unit as long as you didn't need anything from management.  I honestly don't know how that company stays in business because the people they employ to work there are lazy and incompetent.  The last straw really was when we had called them at the beginning of the year saying that some of the cabinets looked like they were starting to split and if they came and glued them then they would probably be fixed.  Well... a few months later they actually did split and broke and there were big sharp wood splinters everywhere.  NINE months later we finally got the cabinets fixed and then they tried to charge us for them.  Are you kidding?  If you would've been proactive and come when we had called in the first place we wouldn't have had to replace them.  I refused to pay it and was completely irritated that they had the audacity to even think of charging us.

We had just been driving around and saw this house for rent.  The house itself wasn't that fantastic but we went online and looked at the company that was renting it.  It had some other properties for rent so we did a quick drive-by.  We came and looked at the place we moved into first and loved it.  It's a bit more expensive than our last place but it is worth every penny.  So from the time that they showed us the place and to us scheduling a lease signing was less than a week.  Then, we moved in a few days later.  It was whirlwind but we got it done!  

My sister came and helped move small boxes Saturday and then Sunday my parents came down with their trailer and some friends helped us move (thank you thank you thank you!)  We got everything moved in about 5.5 hours which included a nice little pizza break.  I then had to go and clean the old place but we were hoping to get everything taken care of as soon as possible so that they could move someone in ASAP.

We are starting to settle into this new place and figure out what is most efficient and learning where everything is.  Hoping that this place will be our last place before we buy something because let me tell you, moving with three small children is EXHAUSTING.
