All DONE!

Yesterday was Gaetan's last day of class... ever!  He had a presentation to do but no final, which seemed like a nice way to end things.  I can't believe that he's done with classes already!  I'm sure that the time didn't seem to fly by as quickly for me as it did for him, but we are incredibly proud of all his accomplishments and achievements.  Way to go Papa!

Because it was the end of the semester that means that it was the department party as well.  Turns out most of the theoretical physicists at WMU love pineapple upside down cake!  haha... but that's not what I made for the party.  I made this peanut butter trifle dessert thing, which I will post later as well.  It was a big hit because it was all gone by the end of the night.  This was probably the best food that they had too!  Again, I had to show some restraint because I knew that I had a big run later, but it was fun to chat it up with some of the profs.  I actually had a conversation with his advisor, which was a first!  Kind of intimidating but since we were talking about cooking I felt pretty OK ;)

Can't believe that things are finally coming to an end and the only thing left is the dissertation... yeah, I know I say ONLY thing, but it's a big thing.  haha.  He's gonna rock it just like everything else of course!  AND, not to mention he signed up for the Kalamazoo marathon too!  SUPER DAD!  Get it Papa Get it!
