Amy visit: Pizza and Beer

Of course while she was here she got to experience our wild Saturday nights of Pizza and Beer with Grandma and Don.  haha.  It's legend-wait for it-ary.  It was also a really nice because Brian was going to meet us at my parents house, and its always nice to visit with him too!  :)

I pumped a bottle so Amy could try and feed her... I think I was standing to close because she wouldn't take the bottle but wanted me to feed her

The morning was great.  Norah did fairly well at night and then Gaetan got up with the kids.  They were really quiet and I didn't even know that they had left!  Amy, G and the kids went out and picked up a few things... including, donuts!  What a morning!  It was funny because while they were out and about a lady complimented Amy on how cute the kids were and she just said, "thank you."  As she should :)  I would totally buy that they were her and G's kids!  haha.

We had to get a family photo.  It's tradition.  Last time we did this photo Lucy was just born... crazy how time flies!

Just the ladies

Well, after hanging out at our place for the morning we made the drive to my parents house where Dude has become an expert at knock-knock jokes.  More on that later.  Brian showed up shortly after we got there, which was a sweet moment because Amy and Brian hadnt' seen each other for over a week because he came out early.  It took Lucy a little while to warm up to him (even though she's seen him on Skype) but after that she couldn't get enough.  For those of you that have spent time around her she gives you the stare down until she deems you OK.  It's like she's scanning your soul and if you come out OK then she will be you best friend.  If not, you get the stare down forever.  We played with the kids and then my Dad came home.  SIDENOTE: Gaetan had gotten me this pear cider, which was DELICIOUS and really has been the first alcohol I've had in awhile... I got silly, oops!

I know that before I know it this will be a reality...

My Dad wanted my Mom to sit in it because he wants to get one now and wanted Mom's opinion on how  easy it is to get in and out and leg room.... haha

Didn't know you could fit so many people in a Miata huh?  :)

When my Dad got home he told us that he was so excited about the Miata that Brian drove over.  After dinner Brian took him for a spin in it before they had to leave, which was a very kind gesture.  It was a bit funny because my Dad's head stuck out of the top... haha.  Brian let the kids and my Mom sit in it as well.  :)  It was so much fun to have Amy all to ourselves for two whole days and then get to see Brian too!  I was totally at peace with the idea that that was the only time we were going to see them, because I know that a lot of other people wanted to see them as well, but any little bit of time I could get with her I was going to steal!  :)

I did unfortunately had to share her with others, so this is her awesome good bye picture
