Getting snowed in at my parents

After our great snow driving adventure to see the Slattery's we were debating on whether we were going to drive to GR for church. In the morning it wasn't to bad so we made the trek up there. However, by the time we had gone to my parents afterwards for some lunch it was getting nastier and nastier. By the time we were done doing whatever it was we had to do and packed up the kids to leave we made it about a mile out of their driveway and came right back. To which we couldn't make it up their driveway so we left Greta at the foot of the hill and walked up. We sort of planned that this might happen so we brought the essentials (Hippo and Gooses' mammick and nighttime diapers for Norah) but not much else. This was also the week that Mom and Dad were planning on going to visit Jon and the babe in Kansas so we were going to stay there and help Holly out. The plan was that they were going to leave on Tuesday and that we would get to their house sometime before Justus got home from school.... well... lets just say that didn't happen. We had to spend the night there on Sunday and then try and figure a way to get all our stuff from Kalamazoo because you better believe that Caledonia had a snow day on Monday and it was looking like they were going to have one on Tuesday too. Which meant that we were watching Holly's kids all day Tuesday instead of just in the afternoon....
