Engagement party

During Christmas break I was honored to be invited to a childhood friend's engagement party.  She was in my quintet, KABAJ that started in middle school and we played weddings and events all through high school.  She is a super sweet girl and we are very excited for her!  Lynsey lives in Texas with her fiancee who is getting his PhD in physics where she teaches viola.  She is phenomenal musician and dear friend.  We had a good time just hanging out, eating and catching up.  Playing a few games and talking wedding stuff.  It was an honor because I was only 1 of 3 other girls from high school that were invited and the rest were family and relatives.  They did a cute gift exchange of bringing an ornament for their first tree together and a favorite recipe to start out their culinary base together.  :)  Looking forward to celebrating their next step in life together!
