Christmas Cookies and the Husteds

Holidays are the season for visitors and I love it!  My favorite visitors were in town and we were lucky enough that they took the time to drive down and spend the day with us.  :)  The crazy snow had just started but they made it to our place early!  I was still making breakfast and in my PJs when they got here... they must really be family then ;)  Oh the kids were so excited to see Amy and Brian!  Dude had drawn a bunch of pictures for them that morning and wanted to show them everything.  Its so nice having friends over that are just as invested in your kids as you are.  Sometimes I feel selfish because I just want them all to myself, but I know that my kids are way cuter and to them Amy and Brian was much more interesting haha.  We built forts, played trains, showed them the slide upstairs (along with the cave) had some lunch, jumped off the couch and made Christmas cookies.  :)  It was a jam packed visit, and it always goes by to fast, but it was good.  We were lucky enough to see them at all and am looking forward to seeing them again (which is next week!)
