My 2nd Double Mother's Day

Yesterday was my 2nd double Mother's day... meaning, this is the second year that I have been blessed to say I am the mother of 2!  :)  We took an easy day yesterday since last week was pretty busy and we traveled a lot.  I know that Tristan likes the car rides, and he even asked to go for a ride yesterday again!  But Gaetan and I were both pretty tired so we decided to stay home and kinda hang out there.

We took a great family nap and when we woke up we went on a chariot ride (the kids and I did, while Gaetan ran) and then Momma was feeling some ice cream, so we rode to the DQ and had a little treat.  I was surprised that Lucy wasn't about the ice cream as much, but wanted the cone.  After our little ride we hung outside for a bit, and then the kids got a bath.  They had some dinner and then went to bed.  Gaetan and I got to hang out some before we hit the hay.  I have been so tired lately, and we chalked it up to all the running that's been going on, but it might just be something else... we'll see in a few weeks ;)

But here's to a great Mother's day where we could just hang with the kids.  Isn't that really what it means to be a mother?  :)  There is nothing else on earth that I could ever dream of wanting to do more than be a Momma.  It is my greatest joy and best job to date.  I thank you Jesus for this opportunity to love my kiddos, and husband, and to learn what it really means to love and serve others.
