Walk, Playground, Froyo and swimming!

Do you ever have one of those days where you just want to pack it so full of things that at the end of the day you can't help just falling down asleep?  Well, that was what we had planned to do with the crazies.  It started really really early with Norah... poor girl is cutting her molars.  Gaetan had been so sweet lately I figured I should let the poor man get some sleep so I got up with her and hung out. We played until she decided that being quiet wasn't something she was going to do, so I took her out and we got some bagels for breakfast.  :)  After that we met up with the Mins and walked the trails.  The trails from their house to the playground is probably 2-2.5 miles and Dude walked the entire way!  There and back... that's a lot for those little legs.  Once we got to the playground I was honestly exhausted... and was thinking that I didn't know if I was going to make it back haha.  The kids played and we had a little picnic which was nice.  The weather was beautiful... a little chilly in the shade but we were always moving so we didn't really notice.  We did make it back and once we got home our kids crashed.  Apparently Jane's did too, which is pretty unusual.  Once we got them up (because I honestly think they would've slept til dinner) we had a quick snack and took them out for froyo.  When we got there we heard the train so Dude got to sit on top of the car and see it.  He proclaimed that it was the best day ever!  haha.  Not long after we had gotten home we got them ready for open swim.  I couldn't believe that we were getting it all in, but we did!  They, of course, loved it and we only left because Norah's lips were turning blue.

We got them home and in bed and there was no struggle at all.  I think I could hear Lucy's snoring all the way downstairs. :)  I honestly didn't blame them!  It was very apparent the next day still that we had worn them out. haha.  It was, indeed, the best day ever.
