That Saturday we actually ended up going to a different orchard with Nancy and her daughter Josie. We tried this orchard before and we weren't impressed at all... but Nancy said that this place was better than the one we tried because it wasn't as busy and you definitely got to pick your own apples! So, we got there and it was PACKED haha. They were having a craft show so that was why it was extra busy. We got our peck to fill and then we headed off to the hills to try and see what types of apples we could find! We found all sorts and they were ALL delicious. The kids of course wanted to sample a few and honestly probably ate their weight in apples. But, it was nice to see them learn about how they grow and be so excited about it.

Of course you have to get donuts and cider while you're at the orchard so we did. The weather was unusually hot but the donuts were still delicious. The kids were pretty exhausted after all their walking, picking and eating so we headed home. It was a great outing and I was glad to be able to share it with Nancy and Josie.
