Weaning

Ever since Norah turned one she started walking, sleeping through the night and not eating baby food.  She is adamant that she doesn't want baby food and only table food, like the big kids.  She also has mastered the straw and holding a cup, so she is loving trying new liquids! Yay for all these milestones right?

With sleeping through the night means that its time to wean... :(  I know that its a good thing because I am enjoying the uninterrupted sleeping through the night but its also sad because that means we don't get our nightly snuggles and quiet time together.  I think that this one will be the hardest because she is my last and I know that there aren't anymore after.  All the other kids started weaning about now and stopped fully around 14 months... and I honestly don't see any reason why Norah will be different.

She had learned to put herself to bed without weaning on Monday and Wednesday night anyways (because of orchestra) but now I'm doing it when I am home... and during nap time.  She is doing a really good job with it!  She stops being upset rather quickly, which is always easier on this Momma who just wants to snug her to sleep.

They are growing up too fast.  But, it's also a good thing because there are other things that we can do together!  :)

If you can see there are bite marks all across the entire crib!  She is definitely the biter out of all the kids... it was impressive.
