End of Summer

I never really thought about what officially says that summer is 'over' but the older I get the more it seems to be around Labor Day.  Why is that?  I'm not sure.  Maybe because now I think of life starting when we got married... and ever since then the end of summer was when we would go to Grace's cottage and help put shore stations away.  Well, when Gaetan would help.  Ever since we've started this tradition of helping I've been pregnant, which, of course, gives me a free pass :).

This year was no different.  We went up to Grace's cottage to help again, even though they didn't have a boat.  It's getting fixed :)  Tristan and Lucy absolutely love it up there and the water was a beautiful temperature.  We have lucked out this year because everytime we've been up it hasn't rained and its been sunny and nice.  This time was a little hot but the forecast said it was supposed to be a bit chilly and rainy... so we'll take the sun!

Again, we had a lot of fun.  Norah got a little warm so she enjoyed chilling in the lake.  Dude played HARD with Grace and Lucy... well, Lucy was Lucy.  Charming people with her adorable little smile and her little curls bouncing as she prances off.  We didn't go kayaking this time but tried out a paddle boat instead.  They didn't love it as much.

But, I guess this really is the end of summer because Gaetan goes back to school on Tuesday... last class baby!  I can't believe that it's the last one, as I'm sure he's glad it is!  We had a blast, as always, and look forward to hanging out with the Ullrey's some more :)
